Specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ferdi YAVUZ was born on September 16, 1979, in Ankara. He graduated as a Medical Doctor from GATA Faculty of Medicine in 2003. Between 2004 and 2006, he worked as a general practitioner in Cyprus.

From 2006 to 2010, he completed his specialization training at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at GATA, becoming a specialist in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation. Between 2010 and 2014, he served as the Chief of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at Etimesgut Military Hospital. In 2011, he successfully passed the European Board Certification exam in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation.

In 2016, he started his academic career as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences at Lefke European University. In December 2017, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor by the Interuniversity Council.

Currently, he continues his academic career as a faculty member at Lefke European University and practices at FizyWell Pain and Rehabilitation Clinic in Ankara. He is actively engaged in innovative treatments, particularly in the rehabilitation of neurological disorders and interventional pain management.

He has authored numerous national and international articles, conference papers, and book chapters. He has been invited as a speaker and trainer at various scientific congresses, conferences, and meetings.
