Dr. M. Alper Salman was born in Ankara in 1967. He graduated from Ankara Science High School in 1985 and from the Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1991.

After completing his specialization in Anesthesiology and Reanimation at Hacettepe University, Dr. Salman worked as a lecturer before transitioning to Private Ankara Güven Hospital. He later obtained his Algology Sub-Specialization and earned the title of Associate Professor.

Dr. Salman is a member of several professional organizations, including the Hacettepe Anesthesiology Association, TARD (Turkish Anesthesiology and Reanimation Association), the Turkish Algology Pain Association, and the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care.

He has published 16 articles in international scientific journals and 10 articles in national scientific journals. Additionally, he has presented 32 oral presentations at international congresses and 8 at local congresses. Dr. Salman has authored 12 book chapters.

His publications have received 576 citations. His scholarly metrics include an i10-index of 14 and an h-index of 13 on Scholar, as well as an h-index of 10 on Web of Science.
