Feasibility Phase

At this stage, patients identified as suitable candidates for the method undergo detailed individual and clinical evaluations to ascertain their potential for success.

Over a period of approximately two weeks, distinguished experts from various fields including Neurology, Physical Therapy, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, and Internal Medicine in Ankara conduct thorough examinations and evaluations. Concurrently, advanced electroneurophysiological measurements and radiological imaging are performed using state-of-the-art technologies, along with other analyses performed in certified biochemistry laboratories.

Subsequently, all findings are compiled into a comprehensive folder by Prof. Semih Keskil. This compilation facilitates a crucial decision, agreed upon by all stakeholders, regarding the patient’s eligibility to proceed to the next stage, and likelyhood of benefit from the proposed method.

It’s important to note that during this initial stage, it may be determined that the patient will not benefit from the “Electrical Stimulation of the Spinal Cord in Patients with Spinal Cord Paralysis,” thus preventing unnecessary further efforts.
